My interest in painting took root while growing up in the Midwest. I've always enjoyed being outdoors and in the woods. Painting allows me to explore these places if not on location then on my canvas. I believe all of my paintings are found, not conceived, and this exploration is what I enjoy about painting. My early interest in painting led me to pursue an art degree.
My professional career has been mostly based on digital image creation and animation. I've produced work for computer games, broadcast commercials and instructional material.
I am currently associated with the Chatham Art Guild and have shown my work in several spaces over the past year. I am looking to broaden my portfolio and expand my efforts in getting my work shown.
